World of Warships: Blitz 8.2 Update Introduces Turbo Strike Mode

World of Warships: Blitz rolls out its 8.2 update, unleashing fast-paced ships on the high seas. The standout feature is Turbo Strike, a thrilling new mode. Alongside it, a host of fresh additions await. Dive in for all the details.

What’s Turbo Strike?

This dynamic mode brings respawns to the battlefield, allowing captains to jump back into action after sinking. Victory goes to the first team to hit 1,000 points or fully capture the base. Turbo Strike features a single dedicated map and a constant flow of power-up buffs.

Randomized airdrop buffs spawn at fixed intervals and can stack up to four times. Notch three kills, and you’ll unlock a steerable missile with slight guidance before impact. Each ship type also gains unique attribute boosts exclusive to Turbo Strike.

World of Warships: Blitz Update 8.2 introduces Variable Torpedoes, a mechanic rewarding bold players. From 0 to 6 km, torpedoes strike at full strength, but their damage gradually decreases to 60% at 12 km.

French Destroyers Join the Fray in Update 8.2

French destroyers make their debut in this update. Starting with L’Adroit at Tier V, these ships blend potent guns, torpedoes, and exceptional agility.

Progressing to Le Hardi at Tier VII and Orage at Tier IX, the line emphasizes stealth, rapid acceleration, and devastating close-range attacks.

From Tier VII, these ships wield Variable Torpedoes and feature the Emergency Engine Accelerator, a boost that enhances acceleration, deceleration, and top speed by 25% for 10 seconds.

The update also unveils the Maine, a formidable new Supership. Download the game from the Google Play Store.
