Blizzard's Warcraft 30th Anniversary World Tour: A Global Celebration
Blizzard Entertainment is throwing a massive party to celebrate three decades of Warcraft! The Warcraft 30th Anniversary World Tour will feature six conventions across the globe from February to May, offering fans a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the Warcraft universe.
These intimate gatherings will boast live entertainment, exclusive activities, and the chance to connect with Warcraft developers. Think less grand announcements and more focused community engagement and memorable experiences, unlike the larger-scale BlizzCon or Warcraft Direct presentations.
The Tour Stops:
The World Tour kicks off on February 22nd in London, UK, and will then travel to:
- March 8th – Seoul, South Korea
- March 15th – Toronto, Canada
- April 3rd – Sydney, Australia
- April 19th – Sao Paulo, Brazil
- May 10th – Boston, USA (coinciding with PAX East)
Ticket Information:
Tickets for these events will be free but extremely limited. Blizzard plans to release information on how to obtain tickets through regional Warcraft channels. Keep an eye on your preferred Warcraft community platforms for updates!
The Future of BlizzCon:
The announcement of the World Tour leaves the future of BlizzCon uncertain. While Blizzard skipped BlizzCon in 2024, the possibility of a late summer/early autumn BlizzCon in 2025 remains open, potentially serving as a platform for reveals related to the upcoming World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion, including the highly anticipated player housing. A shift to a biannual convention schedule, similar to Final Fantasy XIV's Fan Festival, is also a possibility.
Regardless of BlizzCon's return, the Warcraft 30th Anniversary World Tour promises an unforgettable experience for attendees. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this historic celebration!
