Blizzard has unveiled exciting new details about the in-game housing system debuting in World of Warcraft: Midnight. While the expansion's release is slated for after The War Within (part of the Worldsoul saga), early previews hint at a level of customization exceeding many players' expectations.
A recent developer blog showcased in-game videos demonstrating furniture placement. Items snap to a grid for easy arrangement, and larger pieces like shelves and tables can be decorated with smaller accessories that remain attached when moved.
The system offers two modes: a Basic Mode for simple organization and an Advanced Mode for those seeking creative freedom. Advanced Mode allows for rotation on all three axes and creative stacking, enabling the construction of complex and visually impressive interiors.

Select furniture pieces designed specifically for the housing system will support recoloring, though this feature may not be available for all existing assets.
With Midnight still months away, Blizzard continues to generate excitement by teasing upcoming content, keeping players engaged and anticipating future updates.
