Zenless Zone Zero's developers at miHoYo (HoYoverse) continue to expand the game's roster, unveiling a new heroine in a recent trailer.
Evelyn Chevalier, an S-rank Fire-element Assault character, has already captivated many players. Test participants revealed a unique battle mechanic: Evelyn partially disrobes, removing her cape and using it as a projectile against enemies.
Evelyn joins Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi in Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update's second banner. This update also includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation. Players receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the 1.5 update, delivered via in-game mail.
Evelyn's gameplay centers around focused targeting. Her basic attacks draw enemy attention, facilitating extended attack chains. Multi-stage and special attacks utilize "Forbidden Bounds," binding her to the primary target. Skill activations inflict damage and generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling powerful fire-based abilities.
Evelyn's striking combat style, including the aforementioned cape-removal and projectile attack, has already garnered significant player enthusiasm based on pre-release leaks.
