Dead Sails Kraken Boss Guide
Your journey begins in the heart of the town, across from the Gun Store and Hospital and in front of the Trading Hut. Start by offloading any excess loot and arming yourself. I recommend a Rifle, which is priced at just $75 and packs enough punch to fend off most adversaries, at least temporarily. Don't forget to stock up on coal to fuel your ship's old-school engine.

The next town lies 10,000m away. Simply start your engine to set sail. While you can stop to engage and loot Zombies and Drowned, it's generally not worth it due to the limited valuables in the surrounding houses. To restart the ship, just add more coal. Don't be alarmed by the worm on the right; wait until the second safe zone to sell your loot, and stay cautious of Big Foot and Zombie mobs flanking the river.

After reaching the second safe zone/town, you'll encounter numerous burning buildings teeming with mobs. Clear them out if you're in a group, but solo players might find it a waste of time due to scattered spawn points. At around 12,000m, you'll find a castle-like house filled with Drowned, but it also offers valuable loot like Shotgun ammo. Use these resources wisely.

Dead Sails Kraken Tips And Tricks
By now, you're familiar with the routine: kill, loot, repeat and hope the enemy suffers defeat. This is the essence of the gameplay loop. To elevate your skills, focus on efficiency by using your boat as the primary inventory. Empty your bag upon returning to save time and space.

A key strategy from my Dead Sails Kraken guide is stacking Zombies near the incinerator. While it's tempting to flee these towns quickly, efficient loot management can make a significant difference. Running low on fuel? Just toss a few Zombies into the incinerator to keep going.

Another useful tip is to be cautious around Sheriff's offices. These areas often harbor a higher concentration of mobs, but they also yield rewarding loot like weapons and ammo. I managed to sustain my shotgun's ammo by having a friend clear the ground floor while we explored each town.

Conserve your ammo, weapons, fuel, and medkits for the fortress at around 25,000m. It's still under construction, making it an easy target for ambushes. I recommend tackling this area with at least three people, ideally a full squad of five. Be strategic when collecting loot.

Avoid engaging Big Feet after 30,000m. They're extremely tough, require a lot of ammo, and can hit like a truck. Don't linger too long; prioritize your stops wisely. Remember, loot isn't everything.
The town beyond 50,000m is one of my top farming spots, boasting over two dozen Drowned and Zombies. With a few friends armed with Shotguns or Sawn-offs, it's an efficient way to gather corpses for fuel. Coordinate with your team to prepare the bodies for loading quickly.
How to Defeat the Kraken Boss in Dead Sails Kraken
As you approach the final safe zone, sell all your accumulated loot and stock up on ammo, weapons, and medkits. Don't skimp on dealing with Zombies and Drowned; ensure you have a stash of 8-10 corpses for fuel during the final leg of this Dead Sails Kraken guide. You're nearly there. At around 100,000m, you'll reach open waters, primed to confront the beast. The impending battle is signaled by darkening skies.

The camera will zoom out as the Kraken emerges from the water. Immediately, EVERYONE MUST CHOOSE a tentacle to attack. The boss has substantial health, and each tentacle can deal damage if not properly countered. With a five-person team, form a pentagram-like formation and each member should focus on their assigned tentacle.

Be vigilant of the water splash attack, which inflicts AoE damage. It's telegraphed by the Kraken pulling back a tentacle and creating a water trail. Use medkits generously, as some damage is unavoidable.

Lastly, watch out for the Roar AoE, which causes minor unblockable damage and may slightly buff the boss's damage. You'll see it coming when white concentric circles emanate from the tentacle.

As you can see, the challenge is manageable with the right strategies. That concludes my Dead Sails Kraken Guide. To expedite your progress even further, consider using one of our Dead Sails codes. Happy sailing and good luck conquering the Kraken!
