Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing attachment: the Buffer Weight Stock. While its power significantly boosts weapon accuracy, making certain weapons overpowered, unlocking and using it isn't straightforward. Here's your guide.
Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock
Unlike most attachments earned through gameplay, the Buffer Weight Stock is a community unlock tied to The Hit List event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu. Locate the "Community" section; the Buffer Weight Stock will be listed there. Simply viewing this page unlocks the attachment (the initial unlock goal of billions of eliminations has already been met).
Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock
While unlocked for all players, the Buffer Weight Stock's use is limited. It's compatible with only three weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. This restriction prevents it from dominating gameplay.
To equip it, navigate to the Gunsmith for one of the compatible weapons. Select the Stock attachment slot and choose the Buffer Weight Stock. Its accuracy-boosting effect will significantly improve your Multiplayer performance.
