Contrary to the name, Goatskin isn't a literal goat; he's a person you must find in Kuttenberg. Katherine directs you to the inn, but a simpler method exists.
Goatskin resides in a barn above the Black Horse tavern. Access the barn behind the tailor's shop, ascend the ladder (discreetly, as it's a private area), and drop into a courtyard. Climb onto the carriage and enter another barn via the window.
Climb to the top floor to find Goatskin. This must be done during the day, as his location changes at night. Saving before interacting is advised, as dialogue checks influence quest progression. Failure may result in a significant 500 groschen payment (150 groschen if successful).
