"Tsukuyomi: Divine Hunter - New Roguelike by Shin Megami Tensei Creator"

Discover the thrilling new roguelike card battler, Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, now available on Android globally. Designed by the renowned Kazuma Kaneko, famous for his surreal world-building and iconic demonic designs in the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, this game introduces a unique blend of dungeon crawling and an AI-driven system. Developed by the Japanese game studio COLOPL, Kaneko joined the team in 2023 to lead the development of this game, which is a testament to his distinctive style.

Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter Has Trained Personal AI Models

In Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, players are under the watchful eye of an artificial deity that reacts to their decisions by generating custom-made cards. The game's team has developed a proprietary model named AI Kaneko, which was personally trained by Kaneko himself. This model powers the innovative Okami System. The Okami System features a false god named Okami who monitors your gameplay and choices throughout your dungeon exploration. Based on your behavior, Okami dynamically creates new cards that align with your playing style, offering a personalized gaming experience.

The setting for Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is the high-rise known as The Hashira, situated in Tokyo's bayside area. Originally a state-of-the-art complex, it is now a sealed-off structure teeming with monsters. Your objective is to ascend to the top of the tower and confront Noriko Tomi, the president of the construction company responsible for The Hashira. She's targeted by Tsukuyomi, an elite national defense unit, due to her attempts to overthrow the state using jujutsu traps hidden within the building.

Grab the Two New Characters

The game introduces two new characters: Izayoi Tsukuyomi and Shingetsu Tsukuyomi. Izayoi employs a standard approach, enhancing attack and defense through upgraded cards. Some of the Jinma cards you might encounter while playing as Izayoi include Seiryu, Finn MacCool, Mormo, and Watanabe Tsuna. Shingetsu, in contrast, focuses on chain attacks, developing more complex strategies. Shingetsu's Jinma cards include Mach, Kirin, Kato Danzou, and Suzuka Gozen. Additionally, two more characters, Mangetsu and Hangetsu, will be added to the roster in future updates.
