I'll be honest: George Miller is my favorite director. He's the creative force behind two of my most cherished film franchises: Mad Max and Happy Feet (yes, there was a sequel to Happy Feet, you should definitely check it out). Apologies, I tend to get a bit carried away when it comes to Happy Feet.
Truthfully, the Mad Max films combine the raw energy of early '80s action cinema with a uniquely surreal depiction of post-apocalyptic Australia. Following the release of three films between 1979 and 1985, it appeared that Mad Max would remain a trilogy, a capsule from a different time. Then, after that notable detour into Happy Feet territory, Miller surprisingly revisited the very franchise that launched his career.
With Tom Hardy assuming the lead role from Mel Gibson, Mad Max: Fury Road debuted in 2015 to widespread critical praise and went on to secure six Academy Awards. While the latest installment, Furiosa, may not have matched the same level of commercial success, I still firmly believe the Mad Max series stands as one of the greatest action franchises ever created.
As we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Fury Road, I highly recommend a Mad Max movie marathon. Here are your options for watching all the Mad Max films online.
Where to Stream Mad Max Movies

Max Streaming Service
Plans start at $9.99. Stream it on Max.
George Miller has directed five Mad Max movies, including Furiosa. Currently, the only films from the series available for streaming are the original and the newest chapter. Interestingly, you can find both of these titles on Max.
For the other films, your main option is PVOD services like Prime Video. There are also high-quality Blu-ray editions available, which you can find listed below.

If you want to experience the Mad Max saga in chronological order, you could watch the original trilogy in release order and then place Furiosa before Fury Road, like this:
Mad Max Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Mad Max: Fury Road
That said, I believe Furiosa is most effectively enjoyed as the final film in your marathon. Like many exceptional prequels, some of its most impactful moments rely on your familiarity with the characters established in Fury Road.
Future Mad Max Movies
George Miller had previously indicated that the future of the Mad Max franchise depended on the performance of Furiosa. Regrettably, the prequel did not become a major box office hit. On a positive note, his comments do imply that the director still has more stories to tell within the Mad Max universe.
This potential seemed more concrete when Deadline reported that the director "has a script" for another Mad Max film. This is likely in reference to The Wasteland, a long-rumored sequel to Fury Road. However, Miller is known to have other projects in development, and a new Mad Max movie would require studio backing for what would almost certainly be another extraordinarily expensive production. It's an investment they should make, but it might not materialize in the immediate future.
