Stellar Mercenaries Unveils Jupiter Expansion for Vertical-Scrolling Space Shooter

Stellar Mercenaries has just launched its thrilling Jupiter Expansion, nearly doubling the game's content and bringing the action to the solar system's largest planet. This vertical-scrolling action arcade space shooter now offers even more worlds to explore, enemies to vanquish, and missions to conquer. If you haven't experienced Stellar Mercenaries yet, it's time to dive in and customize your ships and weapons as you embark on procedurally generated missions to become the solar system's most feared mercenary.

What’s New in the Jupiter Expansion of Stellar Mercenaries?

The expansion transforms Jupiter and its moons—Ganymede, Io, and Europa—into dynamic battlegrounds. Each moon presents its own unique challenges: Ganymede is a barren wasteland, Io is strewn with volcanic debris, and Europa is a frozen, treacherous landscape. Meanwhile, Jupiter itself is fraught with storms, adding to the intensity of your missions.

Two new factions enter the fray: the Jovian Empire, a formidable military force aiming to control the region, and the Pirate Council, a chaotic alliance of outlaws. The expansion introduces 50 new missions, ranging from hyperspace hunting and piracy to escort and train defense missions, ensuring a diverse range of challenges.

Enhance your fleet with six new ships: the Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker. Arm yourself with an array of new weapons, including the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam.

New Hazards, Shields, and More

The Jupiter Expansion introduces Tier 4 shields and armor to bolster your defenses. New hazards await, such as asteroid fields, elite enemy squadrons, and the formidable Pacifier. Some enemy mercenaries have been upgraded, with new classes like Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk adding to the challenge.

Enhance your gaming experience with 14 new music tracks and a new side missions system. Don't miss out on the expanded universe of Stellar Mercenaries—available now on the Google Play Store.
