GSC Game World has revealed S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - Enhanced Edition, a next-generation upgrade of the classic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy, set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S on May 20.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - Enhanced Edition features revamped versions of Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Prypiat (2009). Each title boasts enhanced graphics, optimizations for next-gen consoles, and expanded modding capabilities.
GSC Game World confirmed that players who own the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy on Xbox Series X and S or PS5 will receive the Enhanced Edition of the respective titles at no additional cost.
For PC players, GSC Game World expressed gratitude to their dedicated community, noting that owners of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games will receive the Enhanced Editions for free. Purchasers of the Enhanced Editions will also get the original versions included. The trilogy is priced at $39.99 as a bundle, or $19.99 per game individually.
Cross-platform save transfers between PC and consoles are not available. Saved progress will remain exclusive to the platform in use.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition offers multiple frame-rate settings, including standard 30 FPS and 60 FPS modes. Additional modes targeting 40 FPS and up to 120 FPS are available exclusively for displays with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support.
The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Enhanced Edition on consoles includes various graphical and performance options, such as Quality Balanced mode, Performance mode, and Ultra Performance mode.
