The Brain Scorcher, a landmark location in the Stalker universe, also appears in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. A Tamper-Proof Stash, secured within a warehouse, presents a challenge; it's locked and lacks a key. However, a clever workaround involves some acrobatic maneuvering around the Brain Scorcher itself.
Accessing the Brain Scorcher Warehouse in Stalker 2
Locate the Brain Scorcher in the northern Malachite region. The Tamper-Proof Stash, marked on your map, leads you to a warehouse with a locked door. This isn't the only entrance.
To enter:
- Circumnavigate the warehouse to the left, ascending the orange stairs to reach stacked boxes.
- Utilize the boxes to leap over the containers to the right, progressing to the next set of containers.
- From this vantage point, jump over the crane on your right, continuing past it to the far end.
- Descend onto the containers below, following a winding path until you discover a rear entrance to the warehouse.
Inside, beware of trip mines guarding the Tamper-Proof Stash. Carefully disarm them before proceeding.
Retrieving the Stash and Exiting
The Tamper-Proof Stash, a large, already unlocked safe, awaits. Gather the valuable loot (ammo, medkits, etc.). Exiting requires a different approach.
To unlock the main door:
- Head right from the power panel, moving further down the warehouse.
- Locate and activate a generator amongst the boxes on the floor to restore power.
- Return to the power panel near the entrance and flip the switch to open the locked door.
This method allows you to bypass the locked door and fully explore the Brain Scorcher warehouse.
