S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl's latest update, version 1.2, is a behemoth of bug fixes, addressing over 1700 reported issues. This substantial patch tackles numerous aspects of the game, resulting in significant improvements across the board.

Key improvements include refined NPC behavior, particularly concerning corpse interaction and looting, along with enhanced shooting mechanics and reactions to stealth. Mutant behavior has also seen multiple fixes. Balance adjustments have been made to pistols and suppressors. The update boasts a large number of story mode bug fixes, alongside optimization enhancements targeting errors and FPS drops. Finally, several audio improvements have been implemented.
