Sony Leaks Stellar Blade PC Release: New Features, Boss Fight, and 25 Outfits Revealed

By EllieMay 19,2025

The much-anticipated PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch on Steam on June 11, bringing with it a host of PC-specific features, as revealed by a trailer inadvertently published by Sony on the PlayStation YouTube channel. Although the trailer was quickly removed, it was captured and shared across the internet, suggesting an official release is imminent.

The trailer also unveiled the Stellar Blade Complete Edition, which includes the base game and all DLC released to date, available for both PS5 and PC. This news arrives more than a year after the game's successful launch on PS5 in April 2024.

On the PC, Stellar Blade will offer a range of enhancements including AI upscaling with Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, support for Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, ultrawide display compatibility, higher resolution environment textures, and DualSense support for haptic feedback and trigger effects.

Additionally, the trailer showcased a new boss battle against Mann, the Leader of the Sentinels, and introduced 25 new costumes, which are expected to be available on PS5 as well. A mysterious sequence at the end of the trailer, where Eve releases a memory stick, has sparked speculation about a potential new ending or additional DLC.

The Stellar Blade Complete Edition is set to launch on both PC and PS5. Developed by the Korean studio Shift Up, Stellar Blade was a commercial success, generating $43 million in royalties in its last financial year. The studio anticipates that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 version, which sold over 1 million copies in just two months. Shift Up is also considering developing another game in the franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players assume the role of Eve, fighting against mysterious invaders to reclaim Earth through fast-paced action role-playing game combat. The game received a 7/10 rating from IGN, with praise for its action elements but criticism for its characters, story, and some RPG mechanics. Despite these critiques, Stellar Blade quickly became popular, selling a million copies soon after its release.
