In May 2015, Nintendo made a groundbreaking announcement that it would partner with Universal Parks & Resorts to bring the enchanting world of Nintendo games and characters into life through innovative theme parks. This strategic move opened up exciting new avenues for the company, aiming to broaden its presence in the entertainment sector. A decade on, this vision has materialized as Super Nintendo World, an immersive and vibrant theme park that delights fans with a plethora of attractions, including thrilling rides, interactive experiences, themed gift shops, and character-inspired dining options. Currently, visitors can enjoy Super Nintendo World in Japan, Los Angeles, and Florida, with an eagerly awaited expansion set to open in Singapore.

The creator of iconic characters such as Super Mario and Donkey Kong shared insights on the development of these theme parks, his collaboration with the next generation of Nintendo game developers, and his enthusiasm for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.
