Following last week's minor leak, EA has officially announced the title and developer of its upcoming Star Wars game: Star Wars: Zero Company. The title is being developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and Respawn Entertainment.

While details remain scarce, we know Zero Company will be a single-player turn-based tactics game. Players won't have to wait long for more information - EA plans to debut the first look at the game during Star Wars Celebration Japan on April 19.
Bit Reactor is a relatively new strategy game studio founded in 2022, staffed by industry veterans from notable franchises like XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and The Elder Scrolls Online. While we've known about their collaboration with Respawn on a Star Wars project for some time, this marks the first concrete details about the game itself.
Respawn's exact role in development remains unclear. The studio has faced significant challenges recently, including last year's cancellation of their planned Star Wars FPS amid EA-wide layoffs, followed by last month's termination of another multiplayer FPS prototype.
Additional information about Star Wars: Zero Company will be unveiled during a live panel on Saturday, April 19 at 4:30 PM Japan Time (late night/early morning for North American audiences - 12:30 AM PT / 3:30 AM ET). Fans may want to program their alarms accordingly.
