Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been rescheduled for a January 28th, 2025 launch. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, aims to ensure a polished and optimal player experience.
Developed by Balloon Studios, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game, lauded for its relaxing gameplay, clever puzzles, and charming aesthetic, garnered widespread praise, earning a strong "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100, 92% recommendation).
While the new release date has been confirmed, a PlayStation Store page remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with its pricing on other platforms, and will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup
The arrival of Botany Manor significantly strengthens the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its success on other platforms suggests a positive reception is likely on PlayStation consoles as well. Following its PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios' next project remains unannounced.
Botany Manor joins other notable January 28th PlayStation releases, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
