Polytopia Announces First Ever World Championship
Midjiwan, the indie developer behind the beloved strategy game The Battle of Polytopia, has unveiled plans for its inaugural global tournament - the Polytopia World Championship 2025. This landmark competitive event kicks off this autumn.
A Global Strategic Showdown
The championship will follow Polytopia's signature "Battle of the Tribes" theme. Competitors can select any of the game's 12 unique tribes, each offering distinct regional identities and tactical strengths.
The Path to Victory
The tournament begins with open qualifiers in September, giving all players a chance to prove their strategic mastery. Top performers will advance through tribal playoffs and elimination rounds. Only six elite strategists will earn invitations to the live finals in Stockholm on December 6th.
For those unable to attend in person, the grand finale will be streamed worldwide, offering fans a front-row seat to the action and exclusive insights from the Midjiwan development team.
