Where To Find the Sisters of Garukhan
The Sisters of Garukhan shrine appears twice: in Act 2 and Act 2 Cruel. Locating it requires careful exploration of the Spires of Deshar map. While map generation is random, the shrine is always present. Its appearance is subtle, easily overlooked on the map. The shrine resembles the image above. Activating the shrine triggers a combat encounter with metallic automatons. A nearby checkpoint allows for quick return if you reach the map exit before activating the shrine.
Claiming the +10% Lightning Resistance Buff
The +10% Lightning Resistance is granted instantly upon interacting with the shrine. It's not a dropped item or a reward for defeating the automatons; it's automatically applied upon activation. Activating the shrine in both Act 2 and Act 2 Cruel yields a total of +20% Lightning Resistance.
Troubleshooting: Why No Lightning Resistance Increase?
Many players find their resistance values remain negative even after activating the shrine. This is due to a -10% elemental resistance debuff applied after each Act. Completing the Sisters of Garukhan in Act 2 neutralizes the Act 1 debuff. In Act 2 Cruel, the buff partially offsets the cumulative debuff. To verify the buff's effect, remove all equipment and check your resistances in the endgame. A -40% elemental resistance indicates the buffs are correctly applied.
