Path of Exile 2 Ascendancy Classes Guide: All Ascendancies & How to Unlock

By MichaelFeb 02,2025

Mastering Ascendancies in Path of Exile 2: A Comprehensive Guide

Path of Exile 2's Early Access release has players eager to explore the depth of each class. While not technically subclasses, Ascendancies provide specialized abilities and define unique playstyles. This guide details how to unlock and utilize these powerful enhancements.

Unlocking Ascendancies

To unlock Ascendancy Classes, players must first complete a Trial of Ascendancy. Currently, the Act 2 Trial of the Sekhemas and the Act 3 Trial of Chaos are available. Completing either trial rewards you with two passive Ascendancy Points and unlocks the Ascendancy selection. The earlier Act 2 trial is recommended for quicker access to enhanced abilities.
