Netflix to Debut Clash Universe Animated Series

By NoahJan 13,2026

Netflix and Supercell have unveiled plans to adapt the acclaimed Clash video game series into an animated show for television, immersing viewers in the vibrant realms of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

Currently in pre-production, the series aims to "capture the chaotic fun of the original games," as Netflix described in a press release. The story centers on "a brave but outmatched Barbarian who must unite a quirky squad to protect their village while navigating the absurdly comical politics of warfare."

The official Clash of Clans social media channels enthusiastically joined the announcement. "Sound the horns, raise the banners, and fortify your village—Clash is coming to @Netflix!" they declared, along with a playful teaser showing developers sharing the news over a group FaceTime chat. "Get ready for a brand-new animated series featuring your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his squeaky-voiced, Hog-riding allies. Charge into action!"

The team at Netflix is equally thrilled to reimagine the beloved game universe. "Clash has captivated gamers worldwide for over ten years—its blend of comedy, thrilling action, and iconic characters makes it a perfect fit for an animated series," said John Derderian, VP of Animation.

"Together with Supercell's talented creators, Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, we're translating the humor, excitement, and unique soul of Clash into an entirely new format. We’re excited to welcome both longtime fans and newcomers into the fun-filled frenzy."
