Netflix and Supercell have unveiled plans to adapt the acclaimed Clash video game series into an animated show for television, immersing viewers in the vibrant realms of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.
Currently in pre-production, the series aims to "capture the chaotic fun of the original games," as Netflix described in a press release. The story centers on "a brave but outmatched Barbarian who must unite a quirky squad to protect their village while navigating the absurdly comical politics of warfare."
The official Clash of Clans social media channels enthusiastically joined the announcement. "Sound the horns, raise the banners, and fortify your village—Clash is coming to @Netflix!" they declared, along with a playful teaser showing developers sharing the news over a group FaceTime chat. "Get ready for a brand-new animated series featuring your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his squeaky-voiced, Hog-riding allies. Charge into action!"
