Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Is Landing Soon!

Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.

Pre-Season Arrival: Chatacabra

Even before Season 5 begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra, making its debut on February 28th, preceding its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Once the season officially starts, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the hunt.

Weapon Enhancements and Balance Changes

Expect significant weapon balance adjustments designed to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its ability to target weak points like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward precise timing with increased power and more satisfying combos.

The Guard skill is also receiving a much-needed upgrade. Higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking, unlike previous iterations. Further details on additional weapon tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

More Exciting Additions!

Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion as a Supply Item, providing an extra 250 inventory slots to alleviate storage woes.

Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new material trading feature will launch. Hunters can exchange special materials acquired through hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
