Many dungeons in Metaphor: ReFantazio feature formidable mini-bosses before the final encounter. Even with grinding, these enemies (often red in Fairy Sight) necessitate squad combat. The enemy also employs Soul Scream, granting four Press Turn icons per turn, and can summon level 50 skeletons.

These summoned skeletons possess strong slashing attacks and dark magic, along with powerful buffs and access to potent healing spells, often restoring the Magileto to full health. Their weakness to Strike attacks underscores the importance of focusing on this element.

This battle remains incredibly difficult even at level 50, nearly impossible below that. Preparation is key:

• Acquire Dark Dodge (Magic Knight).
• Acquire Light Dodge (Healer Archetype).
• Skill Inherit Strike skills (Brawler Archetype).
• Utilize Warlock or Thief Archetypes (resist dark and/or light damage).
• Carry Tetrabreak to counter Tetrakarn (if used by summoned enemies).

Archetype selection is secondary to minimizing weaknesses to dark, light, and slash damage. Prioritize Strength-heavy Archetypes if possible, leveraging Skill Inheritance.
