If you were following us back in April of last year, you might recall our mention of a quirky strategy RPG called Isekai Dispatcher. Now, the creative minds behind that retro gem are shifting gears to something more serene and adorable with their latest project, Ash & Snow. This charming match-three game, featuring two delightful kittens, is set to hit mobile devices on May 15th.
As with any match-three game, Ash & Snow follows the familiar formula. You'll be swiping and matching colored blocks, aiming to clear as many as you can to boost your score. Along the way, you'll encounter power-ups that help you clear blocks more efficiently and rack up more points.
The real draw of Ash & Snow, however, is its two lovable mascots, Ash and Snow. These adorable felines will be your constant companions throughout the game, either assisting you directly on the main screen or watching over you from the top left corner as you tackle the puzzles.
The developers, known for their quality work, are likely to deliver a polished game with Ash & Snow. However, in a genre where we've grown accustomed to match-three games with unique twists, the presence of two kittens might seem quaint by comparison. Yet, it's undeniable that feline characters, and more recently capybaras, have a proven track record of boosting game sales, particularly in the mobile market.
With just a month left until the launch of Ash & Snow, and with details still somewhat sparse, we'll be keeping a close eye on any new information that surfaces before the release.
