How to Become a Shinigami in Hollow Era

Initially, you're a Soul Spirit. To become a Shinigami, accept the first quest from Hurt Shinigami. This is a one-way path; you can't switch to Hollow unless you become a Visored (explained later). If you prefer the Hollow path, consult our Hollow progression guide. The choice is time-sensitive. To become a Hollow, break your chain; however, if you choose Shinigami, the chain will slowly break automatically, every two minutes, leading to an inevitable Hollow transformation if left unchecked. Hollow Era Shinigami Quests Guide

Your initial tasks involve purifying Lost Souls and defeating Hollows to maintain balance. After purifying 6 Lost Souls, accept your next quest from the NPC near Hurt Shinigami. This involves delivering a letter to a doctor.

These early quests are a great opportunity to learn your abilities. Consider purchasing a $1,000 random power sword from a Urakara shop. For efficient travel across the large map, utilize the $200 bus stop teleport, or purchase infinite fast travel for 149 Robux in the Robux Shop.

Subsequent quests, marked with a red crosshair, involve defeating Hollows and Corrupted Shinigamis, progressing until you reach level 15. These include repeatable, progression, and path-specific quests (like Vizard and Airwalk).

Full Soul Reaper Skill Tree and Reiatsu

Strategic skill point investment is crucial for maximizing your Reiatsu. The Reiatsu Skill Tree features powerful Kido abilities (exclusive to Shinigami):

• Caja Negacion: A lightning beam, enhanced by the "Electric" skill for area-of-effect damage.
• Shakkaho: An explosive energy ball, with "Ragdoll" for knockback and "Fire" for burning effects.
• Chain Bind: Energy chains to pull enemies closer.
• Prison of Light: Immobilizes enemies with light rods.
• Thunder Sear: A slow-moving lightning ball that explodes on contact, ideal for crowd control.

Kido Nodes increase Kido damage, while Reiatsu Nodes boost your maximum Reiatsu.

How to Get Shikai in Hollow Era

Reach level 15 to unlock the Shikai Training quest from Urihiro. Defeat Urahara Kisuke to earn your Shikai powers. Note: This can be challenging at level 15; consider grinding to level 25+ for an easier fight.

Unlocking Shikai grants a random powerful ability to your weapon, re-rollable at the Urahara Shop. Activate Shikai (default Y key) when your Rage Bar is full, consuming Reiatsu until depleted or you release the key.

Hollow Era Shikai Mastering

Shikai Mastery increases with Mastery Points earned by using Shikai skills. Higher Mastery levels reduce Rage consumption and grant aura effects:

• Level 1 (1-149 Points): Transparent Aura
• Level 2 (150-299 Points): Enhanced particle aura
• Level 3 (300-499 Points): Lightning boost
• Level 4 (500+ Points): Surrounding flying stones

Becoming a Visored in the Hollow Era

Reach level 50 to unlock the Visored quest at the Vizard's Warehouse. Becoming a Visored allows you to harness Hollow powers. This requires defeating the King of Hueco Mundo for a 1% drop rate Hogyoku, then obtaining the Vizard fighting style.

Hollow Era Visored Mastering

Visored perks include Mask Control (reducing Hollow control) and the Visored node (extending mask usage and damage).
