Kabam unveils Isophyne, a brand-new original character, in Marvel Contest of Champions. This fresh addition, designed by Kabam's creators, boasts a striking visual style reminiscent of the film Avatar, incorporating copper-toned metallic accents.

Isophyne's Unique Gameplay in Marvel Contest of Champions:

Isophyne enters the arena with a revolutionary combat approach. Unlike traditional characters who build power for special moves, Isophyne introduces the "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. This allows for unprecedented flexibility, enabling players to chain special attacks in any order they choose. Instead of a rigid sequence (Special 1, then 2, then 3), players can strategically repeat Special 1 multiple times, creating unpredictable and adaptable combat strategies.

Isophyne's Mysterious Origins:

Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery, linked to the enigmatic "Founders," a group within the game's lore that will be further explored in 2025. For now, her captivating appearance is the focus.

Kabam's 10th Anniversary Celebrations:

Marvel Contest of Champions is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of surprises throughout 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.
