Marvel Snap Unleashes Fantastic Four Game Modes

Second Dinner Studios has launched a new season for Marvel Snap, taking players on a cosmic adventure with the Fantastic Four. This fresh update arrives just as hype builds for the upcoming film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

However, the Marvel Snap x Fantastic Four season draws its primary inspiration from the classic comic books. The entire founding family is present, introducing several new gameplay mechanics. Here's everything you need to know.

What’s in store?

Leading the charge is Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, with his new card: Mister Fantastic First Steps. At the end of each turn, this card allows you to modify a card in your hand, either reducing its Cost by 1 or increasing its Power by 2.

The Fantasticar joins the fray as a Super Premium Series 4 reward. When activated, it grants +2 Power to all cards with end-of-turn effects.

Players can also collect a host of new characters, including the Series 5 card H.E.R.B.I.E.. Its ability cycles each turn, offering effects like Energy generation, Power buffs, or creating high-Power Rock cards.

Human Torch provides a consistent end-of-turn Power increase and can double his Power once per game when your side of the board is full. The Thing grows stronger each turn and can destroy the lowest-Power enemy card if locations are full. Invisible Woman, when activated, causes your end-of-turn abilities to trigger twice.

Additionally, Mole Man and Mad Thinker are available through limited-time events. Mole Man adds Rocks to your hand while removing the top card of your deck. Mad Thinker gains Power each turn if you maintain a full hand.

Mister Fantastic First Steps, the Fantasticar, and H.E.R.B.I.E. are available now. Human Torch arrives on July 15th, with Kid Omega and Cobra following on July 16th. The Thing debuts on July 22nd, Mole Man and Mad Thinker appear on July 24th, and Invisible Woman joins on July 29th.

The season also introduces two limited-time modes. High Voltage returns from July 17th to 21st, offering exclusive cosmetics. Then, the new Grand Arena mode runs from July 24th to August 7th, where players choose a champion from eight iconic characters and battle with pre-constructed decks.

Two new locations have been added. Rocket Pad boosts the Power of the winning side after turn 4. Reed’s Lab generates bonus Energy each turn if you can fill your side of that location. New cosmetic items, including two albums, are also available. Dive into the action now on the Google Play Store!
