Marvel Rivals: NetEase Crowns Most Triumphant Hero

Official website data reveals surprising character popularity trends in Marvel Rivals. In "quick play," Jeff reigns supreme, outpacing Venom and Cloak & Dagger. However, competitive play paints a different picture. On PC, Luna Snow, Cloak & Dagger, and Mantis lead the pack, while on consoles, Cloak & Dagger, Penny Parker, and Mantis dominate.

A fascinating twist: Mantis, the most popular competitive character (on both PC and consoles), also boasts the highest defeat rate. She surpasses Hela, Loki, and Magic in this regard. Consoles saw a broader success story, with 14 additional characters achieving over 50% win rates.

Conversely, unpopular characters include Storm, Black Widow, and Wolverine in "quick play," with Nemore taking their place in competitive modes.

Marvel Rivals, after a month of receiving over 500 mods, is now facing controversy. Nexus Mods' removal of mods replacing Captain America's head with Donald Trump and Joe Biden images sparked outrage.

Nexus Mods' owner, TheDarkOne, explained the decision in a private Reddit discussion, stating that to avoid accusations of bias, both Trump and Biden-related mods were removed simultaneously. This simultaneous removal was intended to maintain neutrality.

Curiously, YouTube gaming personalities remain strangely silent on this matter.
