The highly anticipated manga adaptation of Atlus' Metaphor: ReFantazio has arrived! The first chapter is now available for free on MANGA Plus. This exciting collaboration between Atlus and Shueisha features artwork by Yōichi Amano (known for Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden and Stealth Symphony).
A New Take on the Story
While faithful to the spirit of the game, the manga takes creative liberties with the narrative. The opening storyline differs significantly, omitting certain initial areas and introducing new events. Character interactions and the protagonist's journey are also reimagined. Notably, the manga officially confirms the protagonist's name as Will, aligning with the game's default option. The next chapter is scheduled for release on February 19th, simultaneously with the Japanese version.
