Game review codes will be distributed within days of the game achieving gold status in early December, according to Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global public relations manager. To allow reviewers and streamers ample time for preparation, these codes are expected four weeks before the game's launch.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on sections of the review build, are anticipated a week after code distribution.
The release date postponement aims to deliver a polished, exceptional gaming experience to kick off 2025. The current launch date is February 4th. This shift also strategically avoids direct competition with the February releases of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
Platform availability includes PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps support, with PS5 Pro optimization implemented from launch.
PC players aiming for ultra settings will require an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
