Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, February 9th
- Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Local Time)
- Featured Pokémon: Increased spawns of Karrablast and Shelmet, with a chance to encounter their Shiny forms.
Catching plenty of Karrablast and Shelmet during this event unlocks powerful evolutions. Evolve Karrablast into Escavalier, learning the charged attack Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 in Gyms and Raids), and evolve Shelmet into Accelgor, gaining the charged attack Energy Ball (90 power in all battle types).
Special Research & Bonuses:
A Community Day Special Research story, available for a small fee ($2 or equivalent), offers exclusive encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background, plus extra encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL. A free Timed Research quest will also be available for those logging in during the event, offering additional chances at these Pokémon and boosted Shiny odds.
