Misty Island, a pivotal location in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, presents a thrilling challenge for players. This guide details how to access and conquer Misty Island, collecting all its Power Cells and Scout Flies.

Accessing Misty Island

Before venturing to Misty Island, you must assist the fisherman in the Forbidden Jungle, catching 200 pounds of fish. This earns you a Power Cell and access to the Speedboat in Sandover Village, your transport to the island.

The Sculptor's Muse

Your first task is retrieving the Sculptor's Lost Muse, a golden creature resembling Daxter. Located near the docks, the Muse is elusive. You must chase it, utilizing roll jumps and strategically breaking bones to create pathways. Mastering the Muse's route and timing your jumps is key to capturing it. Return the Muse to the Sculptor in Sandover Village for a Power Cell (save this for later).

Blue Eco and the Precursor Door

After capturing the Muse, locate a platforming section with blue eco orbs. Collect these orbs, then use the charged Blue Eco to activate the Precursor Platform, bridging the gap to a Power Cell.

Conquering the Lurker Arena

Next, return to the Dark Eco Pool. First, you'll face a challenging arena battle against waves of Lurkers and aerial explosives. Utilize the Red Eco dropped by the Lurkers to your advantage. Once victorious, climb the revealed stairs to claim the Power Cell.

The Lurker Ship and Cannon

Proceed to the Lurker Ship in Misty Island's Bay, accessible via a bridge. Climb the ship to obtain another Power Cell. Then, ascend the ramp, dodging rolling logs, to reach a cannon. Defeat the Lurkers guarding the cannon to claim a Power Cell, and use the cannon to destroy metal boxes in the arena for Precursor Orbs.

Balloon Lurkers and Zoomer Chase

Use the Zoomer, accessed via a trans-pad near the Lurker Ship, to engage the Balloon Lurkers in the bay. Carefully navigate the mines while using the Zoomer's hop to maneuver and eliminate five Balloon Lurkers for a Power Cell.

Zoomer Power Cell and Scout Flies

Use the Zoomer to navigate a ramp and reach a final Power Cell.

Finally, locate seven Scout Flies scattered across Misty Island. Several are accessible using the methods described above, such as using a seesaw to reach higher platforms. One is found near the Zoomer ramp.

With all Power Cells and Scout Flies collected, return the Sculptor's Muse to complete your Misty Island adventure.
