InZOI, a life simulation game poised to rival The Sims, distinguishes itself by incorporating dynamic seasons and weather directly into its base game—a feature often locked behind paywalls in competing titles. Already generating considerable buzz for its realistic graphics, detailed characters, and immersive open world, InZOI has now confirmed, via Creative Director Hengjun Kim, that all four seasons will be present from launch.
Players, known as Zois, will experience the full impact of changing weather. Failing to adapt—by wearing appropriate clothing, for example—will result in consequences ranging from mild colds to serious health issues, even death. This realistic element applies equally to scorching heat requiring cooling measures and freezing cold demanding warmth.
Launching in early access on March 28, 2025, InZOI (as detailed on its Steam page) will feature full voiceovers and subtitles. Krafton, the developer, has ambitiously stated its intention to support the game for two decades, believing its long-term vision will require at least ten years of development and maintenance.
