Where to Find Golden Rations
Golden Rations are obtained primarily through exploration and cycle resets.
Exploration: Explore the map, searching for chest icons. These chests often contain resources, and some hold Golden Rations (indicated by a Golden Ration icon above the chest). Areas containing Prisms (marked by golden diamond icons) frequently have nearby Golden Ration chests.
Cycle Resets: Each Overgrowth instance constitutes a cycle, resetting when your revives (Rez count) deplete. After a cycle reset, you're scored. Achieving a high enough score to rank up rewards you with Golden Rations. You can choose to retry the map for resources or fully reset the cycle at the Cursed Outpost.
Golden Ration Uses
Golden Rations are essential for progression in Hyper Light Breaker.
- Home Base Upgrades: Spend them on permanent character upgrades or new vendor services at your home base.
