Way of the Hunter: Wild America is coming to mobile devices, bringing its expansive open-world hunting experience to a new platform. PC players are already familiar with its acclaimed gameplay. Originally released by Nine Rocks Games in August 2022 for PC and consoles, the mobile version is currently in beta, with a planned release soon by THQ Nordic and HandyGames.
Will the Mobile Version Be Complete?
While some graphical compromises are expected due to mobile hardware limitations, the core gameplay and DLC will be included post-launch. HandyGames has announced a closed beta test (CBT) via a sign-up form on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.
A Top-Tier Hunting Simulator?
Way of the Hunter challenges players with realistic hunting mechanics, requiring patience and strategic thinking. Animals behave naturally within vast, open-world environments inspired by the US and Europe, spanning 55 square miles.
The game features authentic hunting weapons, from rifles to bows, and incorporates realistic tracking elements like blood splatter analysis. The ecosystem dynamically responds to player actions; over-hunting in one area will impact animal populations.
An in-game economy allows players to sell harvested meat to purchase better equipment, hunting licenses, and taxidermy trophies for their lodge. Both campaign and co-op modes are included, and the mobile version will offer full controller support.Visit the official website for more information.
