Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 Unveils New Characters and Epic Lore in April Update

Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.2 update, titled ‘Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,’ arrives on April 9th, introducing fresh lore, thrilling battles, and new characters. HoYoverse is also celebrating the game’s two-year anniversary with exciting events and rewards.

What’s New in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2?

Two new 5-star characters join the roster: Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice, a Chrysos Heir cursed by the Touch of Death, seeks the lost Coreflame of Death, wielding the powerful Netherwing and a tragic backstory.

Anaxa, one of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany, offers a scholarly edge. His experiences have reshaped his view of reality, and his Ultimate, Sublimation, inflicts seven Weaknesses on all enemies simultaneously.

Fan-favorite characters return as well. The first half of Version 3.2 features reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron, while Dr. Ratio reappears in the second half.

HoYoverse has also teased balance updates for Version 3.4, affecting Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu. Details are still under wraps, but these changes are highly anticipated. Check out the Version 3.2 trailer below for a sneak peek.

A New Adventure Awaits in Styxia

The story takes players to Styxia, a forgotten city beneath the Sea of Souls, filled with dragon bones and restless spirits. Trailblazers will guide Castorice through this haunting locale, unraveling the mysteries of the Titans and the draconic disaster that devastated the city.

For the anniversary, players can claim 20 free pulls just by logging in. On April 26th, the anniversary date, expect 1,600 Stellar Jades and a unique in-game card from a companion. Plus, choose a free 5-star character between Ruan Mei or Luocha.
