Sabaton Releases New Track for War Robots Game

The tactical PvP mobile shooter War Robots is introducing something loud, metallic, and distinctly Swedish. Developer Pixonic and publisher MY.GAMES have announced a collaboration between War Robots and the legendary heavy metal band Sabaton.

This partnership celebrates the band's dedicated fanbase within the game's community and coincides with the release of Sabaton's latest album, "Legends." One track from the album is now featured in the game as part of Update 11.5, which is currently live on all platforms.

A Tiger Among Dragons

The War Robots x Sabaton crossover launches alongside the Fire Storm in-game event, running from October 28th to December 9th. When you log in during this period, you'll find your hangars redesigned with a new aesthetic inspired by the "Legends" album artwork.

The new Sabaton track, "A Tiger Among Dragons," serves as the official hangar soundtrack, providing a dramatic musical backdrop that perfectly complements the band's historical war themes. Check out the event trailer below.

According to War Robots Producer Boris Burangulov, this collaboration was directly inspired by the community. The development team regularly surveys players about their interests outside the game.

The most recent survey revealed that a majority of War Robots players are metal music fans, with Sabaton standing out as the clear favorite. Upon seeing these results, Pixonic decided to formalize this passion by approaching the band for a special crossover event.

Sabaton bassist, manager, and co-founder Pär Sundström shared that the band was genuinely touched by the fan response. Learning that so many War Robots players ranked them as their top band motivated the group to create something special in return. The result is a track from "Legends" now playing directly within the game's hangars.
