Nestled deep within the heart of Sangor Valley lies Swartrow, the capital city of The Blood of Dawnwalker, a city as enigmatic as the vampire RPG itself. A recent update from developer Rebel Wolves sheds light on this isolated settlement, revealing the compelling reason behind its existence: silver.

The imposing cathedral and Graifberg Castle, perched dramatically atop the jagged cliffs, immediately command attention. Their presence in such a remote location, miles from any other civilization, begs the question: why Swartrow?
The answer is etched into the very mountains surrounding the city – veins of silver, rich and plentiful. This precious metal, its gleam a beacon in the dark, has drawn settlers to this isolated valley for generations. The landscape is scarred with mine entrances, the constant rhythmic clang of pickaxes a relentless soundtrack to Swartrow's existence, a metallic echo in the stillness.
Graifberg Castle, prominently featured in the opening moments of the January 2025 trailer, appears to hold a significant role within the game's narrative. The latest update confirms the city's primary function: the lucrative silver mining industry. This is further underscored by local folklore, which suggests silver provides protection against vampires, making it both a vital resource and a crucial weapon in this world of darkness.
While Rebel Wolves hasn't yet announced a release date for The Blood of Dawnwalker, the game is slated to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
