"Guide to Completing Storm in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2"

By JoshuaMay 01,2025

Stealth plays a crucial role in completing certain tasks within *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, and it's especially vital for the quest known as "Storm." This quest marks a pivotal moment as it transitions you from the Trosky Region to the Kuttenberg Region, wrapping up the main quests in Trosky. Similar to "For Whom the Bell Tolls," the odds are stacked against you from the outset. You'll find yourself without armor, weapons, or essential items like Saviour Schnapps, and your health and stamina are diminished due to prior torture.

How To Start 'Storm' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To kick off "Storm," you'll first need to gather some basic gear from the guards that Katherine neutralized during your prison break. While the armor and weapons aren't top-notch, they're better than going empty-handed. Katherine also provides you with her dagger, enabling you to perform stealth kills. Your next objective is to reach the top of the Crone in Trosky. Although guards patrol the area, they're spaced out enough to allow you to either knock them out or use distractions to sneak past them.

Once you reach the summit, you'll confront Istvan Toth. This encounter doesn't affect the quest's best ending, so if combat isn't your strong suit, opting for the dishonorable route might be wiser. Engaging Toth in a duel could lead to an early demise given your weakened state. After dealing with Toth, search the room to reclaim your and others' belongings, and don't forget to grab any crucial documents.

After handling Toth and retrieving your gear, head back to the dungeon where your companions await. They'll equip their items and guide you through the tunnels for a straightforward escape, making this part of the quest relatively simple.

How To Sneak Through the Hills in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The real challenge begins as you navigate through the hills. Keeping your conspicuousness to a minimum is crucial to avoid detection by patrolling guards. Being spotted can lead to multiple enemies converging on your location. Your lowered stats from the torture make stealth kills and knockouts more difficult, adding to the tension.

Begin by taking the path to the right, which leads uphill. This path merges into a larger one patrolled by guards, but it's necessary to reach Mika, who has been captured. Sneak up behind the guard, neutralize him, and free Mika. This not only saves your progress but also provides you with directions to your next objective.

How To Finish 'Storm' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The final stretch of "Storm" requires a long and careful stealth journey. Follow the map markers provided by Mika, heading towards the edge of the region. Your route takes you east and southeast to the main road in Apollonia, which you'll follow southward, but stay on the fringes and use the bushes for cover to evade the guards. Though the marked area on your map seems vast, you only need to reach about halfway to trigger the ending cutscene. Use stones to create distractions and slip past the guards. Once the cutscene plays, your role in Trosky ends, and you'll proceed to the Kuttenberg Region.

"Storm" stands out as one of the quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* where stealth isn't just an option but a necessity. Prioritizing your stealth skills before embarking on this quest can greatly enhance your chances of success, as the right perks can help keep you hidden from prying eyes.
