Suzerain, the acclaimed narrative government simulation game, marks its 4th anniversary with a significant mobile relaunch on December 11th, 2024. Instead of minor celebratory updates, Torpor Games is delivering a major overhaul for mobile players.
Originally launched on Android in December 2022, Suzerain tasks players with leading the fictional nation of Sordland through complex political scenarios and challenging decisions. This relaunch brings substantial enhancements.
The Kingdom of Rizia Expands the Narrative:
The most significant addition is the inclusion of the Kingdom of Rizia storyline, previously unavailable on mobile. This update grants mobile players the complete narrative experience previously enjoyed only by PC users, encompassing the political intricacies of both Sordland and Rizia.
New Progression System and Cloud Saves:
Two key features enhance gameplay: Political Influence Levels and Story Points. Players earn experience points (XP) through daily challenges and achievements, unlocking rewards and progressing through the story more rapidly. A new cloud save system ensures progress is securely stored, although cross-platform saves are not yet supported.
Freemium Model with Options:
Suzerain adopts a freemium model, allowing players to experience the game for free by watching ads and earning Story Points. Alternatively, premium story packs for Sordland ($19.99) and Rizia ($14.99) offer ad-free access. Subscription options ranging from daily to monthly passes are also available, with a Lifetime Pass providing permanent, ad-free access to all content.
Launch Details:
The Suzerain mobile relaunch is scheduled for December 11th, 7 PM CET. Download it from the Google Play Store.
