Goat Simulator Series Is Getting a Card Game, Coming Later This Year

Unexpected news for Goat Simulator fans: a card game adaptation is on the horizon! Get ready for some goat-fueled mayhem. The game is slated for release later this year.

Coffee Stain North, the creative minds behind the original Goat Simulator, are collaborating with MOOD Publishing (creators of Deep Rock Galactic: The Board Game and Valheim: The Board Game) to bring this chaotic card game to life.

What's in Store for Goat Simulator: The Card Game?

Details are scarce, but we know it's a physical card game supporting 2-6 players engaged in goat-centric pandemonium. Expect the same brand of absurdity that defined the video game series, now neatly packaged in a card game format.

Launching on Kickstarter later this year, the game promises a wild card-playing experience. If you've ever digitally launched a goat into the stratosphere, you can likely envision the card game's chaotic energy.

Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director at Coffee Stain North, perfectly summarized the project: "Chaotic animal-based video games are so last year. That’s why we’ve partnered with MOOD Publishing to release a chaotic animal-based card game instead! You’ve seen goats on your screen; now it’s time to bring them to your table.”

From April Fool's Joke to a Genre?

Initially conceived as an April Fool's Day prank in 2014, Goat Simulator has defied expectations, evolving into a multi-platform phenomenon spanning PCs, consoles, and mobile devices. Now, with Goat Simulator 3 continuing the legacy, a card game adds another exciting dimension to the franchise.

In the meantime, you can experience the Goat Simulator games on the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for our next article covering the Solo Leveling: Arise update.
