Gigantamax Kingler Arrives in Pokémon GO's Max Battle Day Event

Pokémon GO players can look forward to the arrival of Gigantamax Kingler on February 1st, 2025, as part of a special Max Battle Day event. This event introduces the powerful Water-type Pokémon to six-star Max Battles, offering a chance to encounter a Shiny Gigantamax Kingler.

The event, running from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, will feature enhanced gameplay mechanics. Players can leverage Max Mushrooms, items that temporarily boost damage output for Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon during Max Battles. This event marks a significant expansion of Gigantamax Pokémon available in Pokémon GO, following the recent addition of Gigantamax Lapras.

Max Battle Day Event Highlights:

• Date & Time: Saturday, February 1st, 2025, 2 pm – 5 pm local time
• Featured Pokémon: Gigantamax Kingler (six-star Max Battles)
• Max Mushroom Usage: Utilize Max Mushrooms to maximize battle effectiveness.
• In-Game Shop Offers: A $7.99 bundle containing six Max Particle packs will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store. A $5 ticket offers a Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP, double XP from Max Battles, and an increased Max Particle collection limit of 5600.

Event Bonuses:

• Increased Max Particle Collection: The limit is increased to 1600 (5600 with the $5 ticket).
• Power Spot Enhancements: All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, with increased frequency and an 8x particle yield.
• Exploration Rewards (1 pm – 5 pm local time): Double Max Particles while exploring, and a reduced adventure distance (1/4) for particle acquisition.

This exciting event is one of several planned for February. Preceding Max Battle Day is the Lunar New Year event (January 29th – February 1st), and a Shadow Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day is scheduled for January 19th.
