Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest nears its conclusion, unveiling lore speculated since the game's beginning and evolving combat mechanics. Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire proves exceptionally challenging. This massive, dual-sword-wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its appearance amplified by the Abyss's influence. Similar to Inazuma's Riftwolves, it inflicts a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While difficult, victory is attainable. This guide details how to conquer the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire resides within the Stone Stele Records domain, south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Located inside a shrine commemorating Natlan's fallen, this domain offers standard rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly bosses.

Completing the Archon Quest's final chapter, "When All Becomes A Monument," unlocks this boss and domain access. Alternatively, utilize the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer's Handbook.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Success heavily relies on Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. While the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire remains largely stationary, it summons three pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, easily defeated with Nightsoul Blessings.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While other characters can destroy the pillars, Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina significantly reduce the time required, preventing the devastating Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars immobilizes the dragon for approximately 10 seconds, creating a crucial damage window. However, pillar destruction speed varies depending on the chosen Natlan character. During the meteor animation, immediately equip a shield and switch to a healer to mitigate the persistent Corrosion damage, even with a shield. Without a shield, a one-shot kill is possible even at full health. Healers like Furina and Kokomi are highly effective; Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett offer viable alternatives.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging the dragon's unpredictable attacks proves challenging. Its smoke transformation and erratic movements complicate tracking. Frantic attacks, including sword slashes and smashes, significantly reduce the battlefield's size, hindering navigation and dodging. When the battlefield shrinks, staying close to the dragon and attacking from underneath becomes a viable, albeit risky, strategy. Consistent healing is crucial to counter the Eroded Dragon Breath's Pyro and Erosion damage. Staying near its hands provides some respite from the Dragon Breath. The dragon also employs sword slashes, necessitating immediate self-healing to counter Erosion. A dedicated healer is essential for survival.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Regardless of Natlan character ownership, Co-Op Mode offers assistance, especially during the pillar phase. Using the 'Match' button upon entering the domain connects you with other players for easier combat. Unlike previous Weekly Bosses, this fight lacks multiple phases but demands significant time investment.
