Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!
Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, and is available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
Eligible players can enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay, with the 96-hour timer commencing upon logging into the game launcher. Eligibility requires a previously purchased and registered Square Enix account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Accounts suspended or canceled due to Terms of Service violations are excluded. Players can verify their eligibility via the Mog Station.
This generous offer coincides with the recent release of Patch 7.15, adding new side quests to the Dawntrail expansion, including the Hildibrand storyline's return and a fresh Custom Delivery client. Further updates are planned, with Patch 7.16 arriving on January 21st, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series, and Patches 7.2 and 7.3 slated for release in 2025. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's recent New Year's message hinted at the future direction of the Dawntrail main storyline, sparking much player speculation.
The campaign, which began January 9th, 2025, also allows players to participate in the ongoing Heavensturn event (until January 16th), earning a unique minion reward. This provides a perfect opportunity for lapsed players to catch up on Dawntrail's narrative before the arrival of Patch 7.2.
