FragPunk: Optimal Settings and Crosshair Codes Revealed

By GabriellaMay 12,2025

While many games struggle with optimization upon release, *FragPunk* has hit the ground running smoothly right from the start. Yet, for those looking to squeeze out every possible frame, here are the top *FragPunk* settings and crosshair codes to enhance your gameplay.

FragPunk Settings Overview

*FragPunk* organizes its settings into five tabs, with the Video tab being the key for performance tuning. Other tabs mainly contain quality-of-life and accessibility options that don't directly affect performance but can improve your overall gaming experience. Here's a breakdown of the settings you should adjust, while those not mentioned can be left at default or adjusted to your preference.

General

The General tab is where you'll find most quality-of-life settings. Feel free to experiment with these to tailor your experience. Here are the recommended changes:

  • Automatic Climbing – On
  • Automatic Sprint – On
  • Camera Shake During Sprint – Off
  • FOV Sprint Scaling – On
  • Flash Eye Guarding – On
  • Keep Player Centered – On
  • Minimap Orientation Rotate – On
  • Performance Metrics – On
  • Ping Visibility – 1
  • Hide Overly Visible Skin Components from Enemies – On

This tab also includes options for creating your crosshair, which we'll cover later.

Keyboard/Controller

These tabs allow you to customize your controls. With Automatic Sprint enabled, you can free up the Shift key and consider binding it to walk, a common setup in tactical shooters like *VALORANT* and *CS2*.

Sensitivity

Sensitivity settings are highly personal. Feel free to experiment or use online calculators to convert settings from games like *VALORANT* or *CS2*.

Audio

For the best audio experience, set the Sound Effects volume to a comfortable level, and lower the Music, Announcer, and Button Volume. Enable Character Voice Simplification to cut down on unnecessary chatter. Voice Chat settings are up to your preference.
