Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale island, and you can either become him or take him down. Here's your guide to both.
Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the map in each game. Be the first to find and enter it to transform into Godzilla!
Find a portal ➡️ become Godzilla!
Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: a Roar to locate opponents, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and a powerful Heat Ray. But be warned – the entire lobby will be hunting you!
Defeating Godzilla:
If you didn't snag the rift, prepare for an epic battle! Godzilla has weak points; hitting them repeatedly will drop Godzilla Fragments, granting you 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key!
The Rail Gun makes a return for this event, offering significant damage output. High-rarity weapons are also effective. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla earns the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him provides awesome rewards and bragging rights. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
