Getting started with The Getaway in *Fortnite* is a breeze. Simply launch *Fortnite* on your preferred platform, navigate to the Lobby, and select Discover. Scroll until you find The Getaway, and hit the Play button to join the queue.
Can't find it? No worries! Use the search bar located in the top left corner of the Lobby, type in "The Getaway," and the mode should appear instantly.
What Is The Getaway?
The Getaway is a thrilling heist-style game mode where your mission is to snatch a jewel from the map and make a swift escape in a Getaway Van. This PvP mode pits you against other teams vying for the same jewels. The first three teams to successfully secure a jewel and escape in a van are declared winners. Alternatively, you can also win by eliminating competing teams.
What's exciting this time around is that The Getaway is also available in Zero Build mode, perfect for those who prefer to skip *Fortnite*'s signature building mechanics. You can play in Duos, Squads, Unranked, and Ranked formats, offering a variety of ways to enjoy the mode.
The Getaway Start and End Dates
