The evolution of Fortnite since its 2017 launch is marked by a dramatic increase in available skins and customization options. While new cosmetics have always been a core element of the game, the sheer volume, coupled with the recent introduction of new game modes, positions Fortnite as a dynamic platform rather than a standalone title. This expansive cosmetic market, however, inevitably attracts criticism, and the current wave of complaints focuses on the perceived recycling of existing assets.
