Tekken 8 Season 2: Anna Williams Arrives, Future DLC Revealed, and Sales Surpass 3 Million!

Bandai Namco has released a thrilling trailer for Tekken 8's Season 2, spotlighting the return of Anna Williams. The trailer showcases her updated moveset, stylish new costumes, and a captivating intro sequence, featuring a special cutscene if her sister, Nina, is the opponent.

Anna Williams will be the inaugural character of Season 2, launching March 31st for owners of the Character Year 2 Pass. General release for all players is set for April 3rd.

Beyond Anna, the trailer hints at a robust content roadmap for 2025 and early 2026:

  • Summer 2025: A new fighter and a fresh arena will join the fray.
  • Fall 2025: A new combatant will enter the arena.
  • Winter 2025/2026: Another new fighter and arena will expand the game's offerings.

In other exciting news, Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 has already surpassed 3 million copies sold! This impressive sales figure signifies a significantly faster sales trajectory compared to its predecessor, which has accumulated over 12 million copies sold to date.

Tekken 8, released January 26th, 2024, is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
