Marmalade Game Studio unleashes Exploding Kittens 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular card game, later today. This new version, developed in collaboration with Asmodee and Exploding Kittens Studio, boasts enhanced gameplay and features.
Familiar Fun, New Tricks
Exploding Kittens 2 retains the beloved charm of its predecessor, adding customizable avatars, expressive emojis, and vibrant animations to bring the cards to life. The game offers a variety of game modes, challenging players to outsmart opponents using cards like Bear-o-dactyl and Defuse, while cleverly deploying the infamous Nope card – now even more potent with the introduction of "Nope Sandwiches" and "Nopesauce"!
Three classic expansions – Imploding Kittens, Streaking Kittens, and Barking Kittens – return with revamped gameplay. A season pass grants access to these expansions at launch, with ten more planned for the future. Players can also personalize their avatars with stylish outfits and use a range of emojis to playfully interact with opponents.

Tonight's launch includes special events and in-game rewards. Compete in online multiplayer or single-player modes, utilizing Nope cards strategically to unlock exclusive goodies. A special event also simplifies acquiring the coveted "Most Valuable Kitten Outfit."
